No detail was too small for Nicole and she understood it would not be completed with every detail for a couple of years, but also that taking her time to fill her home with items of quality that reflected her taste and her families needs were the most important issues. As you can see, her family has settled in.

All natural wood 4 1/2 inches thick. Hand stained Cobalt Blue and Patina Green. A light recessed in the header beam illuminates the door at night. The Clay-ceramic sconces are from New Mexico. The Talavera container is decorated reminiscent of Freda Kahlo's famous lily paintings. She was the wife of Mexican fine artist Diego Rivera.
elena del bucchia DESIGNHaving lived in England and now Canada, these clients wanted to inject some personality and extra space for their young family into their 70’s, two storey home. I was brought in to help with the extension of their front foyer, reconfiguration of their powder room and mudroom.
We opted for some rich blue color for their front entry walls and closet, which reminded them of English pubs and sea shores they have visited. The floor tile was also a node to some classic elements. When it came to injecting some fun into the space, we opted for graphic wallpaper in the bathroom.

NWC ConstructionThis is one of my favorite pictures it shows a great use of materials. This home original was built 100 years ago and it has a basement that is what the antiqued door leads to. The barn door was built by NWC Construction master carpenters. It is real recycled barn wood.

Front entry of home overlooks 40 ft long aqua blue glass outdoor edgeless reflecting pond with decorative rock and landscape. Upon entering the home large aqua coloured modern art pieces are on display down the homes hallway. Art pieces can be seen from every room of the home as they are carefully displayed on walls for colour. Custom front 11 foot teak and cedar front door and side light goes from floor to ceiling just like the custom windows. It helps create height and accents the homes 11 foot tall ceilings and windows. Open front entry has 12 foot custom white leather sitting area. perched on aqua blue silk circular carpet. Floor to ceiling windows allow the light to beam through the home and magnify on the hand blown glass that adorns the home. Unobstructed water views are the first thing you eyes focus on from the front of the home and directly through the entire home.
