Clawson CabinetsSmall Detail — Big Difference…The existing home is a traditional tutor cottage style. The original dark stained wood trim is stunning and in excellent shape. The foyer tended to be dark and a solid wood door leading to the Powder room at the end of the hall gave no indication that there was a connection to the rear yard. By reducing the oversized sized powder room replacing the window at the end of the hall with a door onto the deck, light now flows from the front of the home to the back. The existing door to the deck was in the kitchen where the new sub zero refrigerator stands.
UserTwo levels of South-facing (and lake-facing) outdoor spaces wrap the home and provide ample excuses to spend leisure time outside. Acting as an added room to the home, this area connects the interior to the gorgeous neighboring countryside, even featuring an outdoor grill and barbecue area. A massive two-story rock-faced wood burning fireplace with subtle copper accents define both the interior and exterior living spaces. The white perimeter kitchen cabinets include glass front upper cabinets with in cabinet lighting. A matching mantel style hood frames the large Wolf oven and range. This is contrasted by the gray island cabinetry topped with a wood countertop. The walk in pantry includes matching cabinetry with plenty of storage space and a custom pantry door. A built in Wolf coffee station, undercounter wine refrigerator, and convection oven make this the perfect space to cook, socialize, or relax with family and friends.

C&R RemodelingOur Interior Designers tell clients, “Be true to yourself, and you will love the results.” This kitchen remodel reflects that motto. The owners of this Salem area ranch home had a long-standing appreciation of the classic white, black, and red color combination. So when C&R Senior Interior Designer Linda Stewart selected the new color palette, she stayed close to that theme.
A challenge in nearly every older kitchen is the new refrigerator sizes. Remember the day when you could replace your refrigerator and the new one would fit perfectly in the existing space? Not anymore. Now, the super-sized refrigerators wreck havoc on most kitchen spaces. If, by luck, it happens to fit beneath the upper cabinet, it more than likely protrudes out into the room.
This kitchen had that issue. The refrigerator stuck out a good six inches from the cabinet edge, seriously affecting the visual flow. And with that much added depth, reaching the cabinet above was almost impossible.
C&R solved this problem with a custom cabinet and side pantry that extends the full depth of the refrigerator. This accomplished two good things: added architectural interest and a refrigerator proportional to the kitchen as a whole.

UserWe painted the upper cabinets in this beautiful kitchen, satin white, we refaced with walnut stained lower cabinet doors, added Cambria Quartz countertops and a ceramic tile backsplash then added the floating shelves to give in an open and airy feel.
Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncUpdating of this Venice Beach bungalow home was a real treat. Timing was everything here since it was supposed to go on the market in 30day. (It took us 35days in total for a complete remodel).
The corner lot has a great front "beach bum" deck that was completely refinished and fenced for semi-private feel.
The entire house received a good refreshing paint including a new accent wall in the living room.
The kitchen was completely redo in a Modern vibe meets classical farmhouse with the labyrinth backsplash and reclaimed wood floating shelves.
Notice also the rugged concrete look quartz countertop.
A small new powder room was created from an old closet space, funky street art walls tiles and the gold fixtures with a blue vanity once again are a perfect example of modern meets farmhouse.

Sew BeautifulThoughtful design addressed the privacy, light control and aesthetic needs of this custom Eastern Shore home designed by a local Annapolis architect. With all windows of the home facing either water or expansive fields, we preserved the view with functional panels. They offer an unobstructed panorama during the daytime, but can easily be pulled closed for a room-darkening effect in the bedroom and theater room.
In the open kitchen, a custom, upholstered banquette outlines a round dining and gathering space for family and guests. Throughout the home, a neutral color palette provides balance to the accent tiling and the deep browns of the high ceiling’s wooden beams.
