The 3-winged floor plan was designed to maximize these views and create a comfortable retreat for the Ebners and visiting guests. Upon arriving at the home, you are greeted by a stone spine wall and 17’ mitered window that focuses on a majestic oak tree, with the valley beyond. The great room is an iconic part of the design, covered by an arch formed roof with exposed custom made glulam beams. The exterior of the house exemplifies contemporary design by incorporating corten cladding, standing seam metal roofing, smooth finish stucco and large expanses of glass. Amenities of the house include a wine cellar, drive through garage, private office and 2 guest suites.

Designed to emulate the owner’s favorite country club, this fine estate home blends in with the natural surroundings of it’s hillside perch, and is so intoxicatingly beautiful, one hardly notices its numerous energy saving and green features.
Durable, natural and handsome materials such as stained cedar trim, natural stone veneer, and integral color plaster are combined with strong horizontal roof lines that emphasize the expansive nature of the site and capture the “bigness” of the view. Large expanses of glass punctuated with a natural rhythm of exposed beams and stone columns that frame the spectacular views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Los Gatos Hills.
A shady outdoor loggia and cozy outdoor fire pit create the perfect environment for relaxed Saturday afternoon barbecues and glitzy evening dinner parties alike. A glass “wall of wine” creates an elegant backdrop for the dining room table, the warm stained wood interior details make the home both comfortable and dramatic.
The project’s energy saving features include:

Laura Manchee DesignsThe focal point of this great room is the panoramic ocean and garden views. In keeping with the coastal theme, a navy and Mediterranean blue color palette was used to accentuate the views. Slip-covered sofas finish the space for easy maintenance. A large chandelier connects the living and dining space. Beach inspired art was mounted above the fireplace on the opposite wall.
Titan HomesA mix of fun fresh fabrics in coral, green, tan, and more comes together in the functional, fun family room. Comfortable couches in different fabric create a lot of seating. Patterned ottomans add a splash of color. Floor to ceiling curved windows run the length of the room creating a view to die for. Replica antique furniture accents. Unique area rug straight from India and a fireplace with brick surround for cold winter nights. The lighting elevates this family room to the next level.

We helped them design this custom Three Season Room where they can do all three--and more! With heaters and fans installed for comfort, this family can now play games with the kids or have the crew over to watch the ball game most of the year 'round!
