Architectural Plastics, Inc.This glass walled cellar was designed and created by Architectural Plastics, Inc. All of the racking in the cellar is made from thick, furniture grade, clear acrylic.
Ana Life DesignCustom made wine cellar for my Dad. I transformed a seldom used sauna room into this beautiful work of art. I had to quote it through several companies because it was very expensive. In the end we hired this craftsman that used melina (a type of cultivated wood) that is very affordable. By staining the wood we achieved this luxury feel. We were able to do the cornices and even the carved column with that type of wood which is made of small slats joined together. The perfect finishing touch was a custom made oil painting of a vineyard to be admired when opening a bottle in the granite countertop.
Architectural Plastics, Inc.Architectural Plastics was contracted by Jean-Charles Boisset, the new owner of the historic Oakville Grocery, to turn a walk-in freezer into a light and airy wine cellar. The goal was to create a modern wine cellar that kept some of the industrial feel of the freezer.
The ceiling and one wall of the cellar were left with the original patinated metal lining of the freezer. Industrial ceiling lights were added as an aesthetic accompaniment to the exposed metal. The original flooring was also left in place.
Reclaimed wood toe kicks were added to bring in some warmth and tie in with the external wood-framed windows of the room.
Architectural Plastics then clad one wall in floor to ceiling LED panels with a 5000K color temperature to brighten the space up. The LED panels are a great compliment to Architectural Plastics' clear acrylic wine rack line because they make the racks glow and almost vanish.
Some additional white acrylic panels were added to hide the remaining metal walls of the cellar and act as signage for the store.
Several acrylic wine racks were then designed, made and installed by Architectural Plastics. This stunning space is an excellent example of the versatility of clear acrylic to blend with any design aesthetic.

L/L Design - Build - FurnishOur client purchased this home and realized he was never going to use the formal dining room, and one thing that I highly believe in is we should use our homes the way we want to live in them… Thus his dream of a wine room was soon underway.
We spent many months planning, designing, revising the designs, to make sure this investment was going to be exactly what he wanted.
The results truly tell the story. No detail was left unfinished: from the hand stained walnut cabinets, to the precise countertop ogee edging seamlessly flowing into the walnut cabinet edging. Custom trim at the HVAC ceiling vents as well as the wine cooler vent at the toe kick. Dimmable lighting all around, speakers system, optic clear glass doors with custom family name etching.
This is truly a meeting place, entertaining paradise, and remarkable home wine cellar.

This basement remodel included a complete demo of 75% of the already finished basement. An outdated, full-size kitchen was removed and in place a 7,000 bottle+ wine cellar, bar with full-service function (including refrigerator, dw, cooktop, ovens, and 2 warming drawers), 2 dining rooms, updated bathroom and family area with all new furniture and accessories!

Tag & Associates, LLCModern wine cellars are both practical and stylish. Many cellar owners opt to have their wine on full display, investing in all glass or acrylic wine cellars to showcase their collection. Metal, acrylic, peg, or cable wine racks can be used to give the illusion that the bottles are floating. Wine cellars can also be installed into the floor, taking advantage of the consistent temperatures of the ground/soil.
Other creative cellar installations include using unused space under the stairs, an existing closet space, pantry, or basement. In an effort to save money, some wine lovers DIY their wine cellars by purchasing pre-fabricated wine racks, cabinets, and wine refrigerators.
Opulent, custom-built wine cellars are one of the more recent trends in home design and construction where wine aficionados can safely store, age and display their bottled wine collections.
Juxtaposed InteriorsWelcome to the Champagne Room. This client specifically wanted a Champagne Room and wanted the theme of the room to match its name. The walls have a gorgeous textured silver wallpaper. Four Swivel chairs invite guests to come in and relax. The room can be closed off by two oversized contemporary style barn doors with stainless steel hardware.
Designs by BSBVIEW: into the entry of the stunning 2 room wine cellar. This room required HVAC above, so the ceilings are lower than the cellar area. The french doors lead into the soothing ambiance of soft lighting and a water fountain by Atlanta Gardens.

Washington Valley CellarsThe custom mahogany racking features double depth bottle storage on the lower half ot the wall. Above that is a canted display row with hidden LED lighting. This creates a drink ledge in front of the display row where you can set down your glass while you enjoy the collection. Above this point, we've provide several other styles of racking with both neck and label forward designs. The evaporator component of the cooling system is obscured by a mahogany diffuser which allows the air to circulate throughout the room.
Vinomagna Wine CellarsThis white wine cellar incorporated an oak timber finish and stone shelving. Soft LED strip and spot lighting add an abundance of subtle brightness. Such details allow the space to open up what was once a head height restricted basement space.
The initial challenge of this white wine cellar project was the total floor to ceiling height of only 2m.
Given that the original space showed signs of damp and water ingress, the Structural waterproofing was a key consideration. Ventilation was and is an additional must for any basement custom wine cellar project. Ventilation is also a building control requirement in a usable basement space. Within the design, it will additionally remove any surface moisture build up from dew point temperature condensation.
