Grasso, Design For LivingI worked on the original renovation of this 1950 ranch style home back in 1994, when it was gutted, resurfaced, fitted with large windows and doors, basically completely transformed from a boring, dark, rectangular cinder block house into a light filled cozy cottage. Twenty two years later, it needed all new furniture, paint, lighting, art, and window treatments. I kept the 1950's kitchen cabinetry to maintain the "farmhouse" feel, just adding paint. It was so fun to have the opportunity to work on this house twice!

Cabinet-S-TopIn this kitchen we updated the existing cabinets with Cambria 3cm Hollinsbrook Quartz countertop with Franciscan Desert Crema Glazed Porcelain Slate, 3x3 Mosaic tile with Bliss Silver Aspen Linear Blend accent and Durango pencil liner. A Blanco Metallic Gray 1 ¾ sink with low divide was installed.
PETE NICK DESIGNA small Limed Oak spiral staircase fitted into a 1600mm circular stairwell opening with a Limed Oak finish and simple wrought iron balustrading topped with our continuous oak handrails. Oh and matching stair gate at the top.
