The kitchen was relocated to a back corner of the home for improved connections to outdoor areas as well as the indoor living spaces. Cabinets are face-frame style with a combination of simple shaker panels and glass-fronts. Built-in bookshelves divide the kitchen from the eating nook while maintaining an open and connected feeling between the two spaces. The island is designed to allow impromptu seating for two.
