Los Altos Hills Home Rebuilt
The homeowners added a gas fireplace to one corner of their master bedroom. The interior designer provided conceptual drawings. Flegels worked out the detailed construction. Rough-cut slate in grey and gold variegation with glass dots was chosen to coordinate with the tiles in the bathroom. Manufactured quartz countertop material was used for the raised threshold and the 3" mantle lip. The mantle lip protects the flat screen TV from heat damage. The hardwood flooring is the same renewable Brazilian cherry throughout the house. LED ceiling lights throughout the house.
