    I love this idea, however, I live in New England and my concern is the pipes freezing.

    how simple is the fountain to install i live Australia and i think my 9 month old Lab would love this

    I put this type of fountain in my backyard. I won't let my dog drink from it because the water is not clean! There is a basin under the rocks that collects the water to recirculate. It gets very gross under there. It also is a breeding ground for mosquitos unless you keep the water circulating 24/7. Or, put a chemical in to kill mosquito eggs - which is not safe for dogs.
