    Hi Melissa,

    Thanks,we used acorus gramineus ogon and acorus gram. variegata to create "crop circles" around a mass of hybiscus moscheutos "fantasia" in the middle.

    Th project was spectacular for the first two seasons but creeping buttercup invaded and the wet status of the lower yard changed dramatically as did the light levels due to surrounding construction/tree removal on other adjacent properties. This was a big disappointment to all. There is no way to keep up with the invasive buttercup. There is still a lot of visual interest thanks to the ligularia,cinnamon fern,astilbe,hot lips chelone,and carex pennsylvanica that we planted on the up hill slope..but the original composition is not as visually dynamic as it once was .
