    It could be Acacia, very straight grained, though. It is definitely not oak. "Rich Oak" might be a stain.

    I like the shiny fume hood and would look forward to cleaning it every single day forever.

      I think it looks like Acacia; however, the website says is "rich oak." I would love to know for sure as well.
