Would these survive the south ( zone 9-10 ) in rainy season?

samantamyc, green beans don't do well in cold temperatures. They do best in a temperature range of 75-85 degrees, with nighttime temperatures in the high 50s-60s. They germinate poorly at cooler temperatures and are more susceptible to diseases. My guess is if you plant them in a warm spot in late August/early September and keep them watered through the rest of the hot season, they might produce in November and December, but it really depends on what your low temperatures are. Frost will kill them, and the low light of December won't be the best for them.
