    Looks great! Just as an idea, I think that it would look even better having the tile backsplash you are using in the areas shown in the following image. Hope it helps and great work!

      The subway tile is from Lowes. It is supposed to be clear, but it has a nice hint of light blue. We have gotten so many compliments on it! Here is a link to it. http://m.lowes.com/pd/Anatolia-Tile-Studio-White-Glass-Wall-Tile-Common-3-in-x-6-in-Actual-2-95-in-x-5-9-in/4351915

      We removed the microwave when we remodeled too and had it built into the island. Put a high-efficiency range hood and a condiment alcove built into it's place.

      If you don't mind, can you let me know what recessed lights are being used in the kitchen? They don't like like regular 5" / 6" cans

      I like the vigrated floor pattern. I saw someone not long ago (no longer then a year) ripping out a vigrated floor cause it was outdated. Now I guess its modern. Must have been on a cover of some magazine lately.
