What are the sizes of your record cabinets?

Very nice - Love the cabinets - what type of wood was used ? what is the span side to side for weight consideration? What is the depth front to back that was used.

Thank you for the kind comments. We used maple for a soft and subtle appearance. Each opening was approximately 30" wide x 15" deep. Instead of a standard 3/4" thick adjustable shelf we actually created an entire face frame for the cabinets to allow a solid shelf that would not flex.
