Do the lights and the sink fixtures have to be the same color? I want to use bronze tone lights with polished crime fixtures.

    For sure the lights and faucets do not need to be the same color... But, you still need to make them look like a 'plan' and not a 'mistake'. So repeat the finish/color of each a couple of different places in the bathroom. ie: hardware on cabinets, doors; accessories with mixed metals; picture frames etc.
