    Hi Lorraine,

This particular fan has a 25 watt motor with a 134mm fan. It clears 320 cubic metres of air per hour (m3/h). Now, how you work out if that is powerful enough for your room depends on the room size and what elements you have in the room.

For a bathroom with a shower you'll need more air changes than one just with a toilet - so the basic formula is to work out your room size (length x width x height), then multiply that number by how many air changes you need per hour. In general, we say 10 changes for a toilet room, and up to 25 changes for a shower room, depending again on how steamy your showers usually get.

Once you have the room size, and the number of air changes you'll likely need, you compare that to the m3/h rating of the fan.

There's some more general info about choosing an exhaust fan in our blog if you want to have read - http://www.cetnaj.com.au/blog/how-to-choose-a-bathroom-exhaust-fan/

Hopefully that makes sense and has helped - let me know if there's anything else you need.

    Laura
