diy artificial turf

I just met with someone today who installs turf. instead of rock underneath, he uses a rubber drainage tiles from a company called Alter tile. I haven't found this company online but I am hoping someone knows of a drainage tile company we could order from that would work as the sub base for artificial turf. thanks!
