What do you think of unusual design products? Is it a unique touch to interior or is it too much?

    I think unusual designs are fabulous when used in moderation. Especially when used against a plain backdrop as in your images.

    Use as a focal point in a room to give it a quirky personality.

      Some unusual design products can be great but sadly a lot of the design projects lately, especially on the Interior Design programs on tv have been done to death

      E.g home made lamps with large exposed bulbs, modern copies of animal head trophies on walls etc

      Less is best with a few nice designer touches

      When used sparingly quirky design can add personality to your room/home especially when cost is important. If you give yourself a blank canvas to work with clever use of colour and design offers much needed focus and allows for low cost change options ie replace a lamp rather than refurbish an entire room.

      Quirky objects like the sheep/coasters sprinkled around can add humour and personality to a house and turn it into a home. I love them, especially if they make you smile too.
