It is an Architectural Solid Surface material, a renewable mixture of fine ground natural aluminum minerals and a binding agent. The material is mixed and poured into the mold and allowed to cure before being finish sanded and Polished to a high gloss. Our knowledge of traditional casting processes ensures an air/void free material guaranteeing the product a solid homogenous, 100% non-porous surface. Much of the material is organic and the mineral content adds strength creating a molded stone. Designed to feel more like fireclay/porcelain than plastic, like acrylic. Dry Weight is around 285lbs.
