Width of counter area

Just wondering... how wide is the counter surface, as well as the broom closet, in this laundry room? We are presently designing our home and think that this configuration would work for our space. Thank you!

    The total cabinet width is about 36 inches with the counter next to the sink being about 15 inches. The broom closet next to the washer/dryer is about 20 inches.
