Any suggestions for replacing the fluorescent lights in our kitchen?

I like recessed lighting but my husband doesn't want to tear the sheet rock up - fluorescent light does give much needed light, but is ugly - any suggestions?

    Replace with good LED track lights , you take down the fixture you have do some minor repair to the ceiling use the same electrical to install many more heads with LEDs on a track and you will probably have to paint the ceiling.

      Thank you, I've been looking @ track lighting & Pro Track which is wired the same way the fluorescent lights are - the track lighting doesn't limit putting lights where they are needed, could you recommend a good brand? It sounds like a good way to go.

      Tina thank you 4 letting me know about Seagull Lighting I spent a long time on their site & found track lighting I would love to get, they carry a quality of lighting I haven't found anywhere else, I was concerned that I would find cheap, cheesy looking lighting, thank you 4 letting me know where to look you've been a big help.
