I probably used about a dozen Sharpie pens. My walls are textured which I think made drawing the trees easier. I drew them freehand and each tree took about 45 minutes.
I was originally going to replace the ugly gold doorknobs but when I realized how expensive doorknobs can be I ended up just spray painting them black.
I drew a fake keyhole frame around each of the doorknobs.
I installed a chandelier that I painted blue with craft paint.
