Design help urgently needed

We have just decorated our larg lounge, I have looked at thousand fabrics for curtains and rugs and still no nearer to finding what complement or tie the room together. My sectional sofa is black leather and so is the wood stove in the corner also there is a floating black cabinet under The television. The walls are white, I want heavy curtains and a contempary look, I would like the room to look inviting please help. Sincerely Alison
