You don't! If you are a fairly neat gardener, then there won't be much gravel migration, and an occasional sweep will maintain. But if kids and big dogs in the mix, then it will get a bit messed up.
That being said, there are some stabilizers on the market now, but be careful, and do research, as many are not so easy to apply. Its not a topical solution, but a gooey, epoxy-like substance that has to be mixed into the gravel before you trowel down the whole mixture in between the stone, and it hardens when it cures. And you have to be careful not to spill on the stones, as its a devil to remove. I would recommend a pro.
