Gabion garden walls

Hi, we are building a new home in SW19 and would like to use gabion walls in our garden as retaining walls. I am struggling to find a gabion wall contractor. Can anyone help? thanks

    You can buy the cages online & ask your builder to fill them. I am not sure there are any specialist contractors.

    Companies such as CED or London Stone could supply suitable stone. Buy cages online as advised above. Any landscaper, builder could fit and fill them. Have used them in a stream. Saved a garden!

    Gabions are a very straightforward way of building retaining walls if the design is right. It shouldn't be a problem for any professional contractor.

    I would recommend having a design in place first. The sizes of gabions tend to go from quite small for domestic work to very large for commercial and so it wouldn't be surprising if making some to fit your project was the best option.
