Artwork in closet?

I would like to brighten up my closet - it currently has the dark closet organizers and I don't want to spend the money to replace them. I'm wondering about painting the walls, adding new pulls, maybe mirrors on the cabinet doors, new light fixtures, artwork on the top of the cabinets... Any ideas would be appreciated.

    I would recommend switching out the light fixture and the pulls for an updated look. That would be a great start. If it's a sculpture you could place it on the island. A few mirrors would brighten up the space for sure. See the photo below for reference to the art placement and decorative pulls. Hope this helps!
