    This is viburnum trilobum, American cranberry bush.

      Thank you for answering. I guess the app wouldn't allow me to respond. My Landscaper suggested 6 of these to line my stained cedar fence . I was concerned about the Smell. Have you experienced anything like this in a mass of Plantings? I love this look, not sure if I'm ok with berries falling :)

      As far as I can tell there is not much smell from this type of viburnum as opposed to the Korean spice viburnum, carlesi, which smells very nice. The berries are not that messy. They stay on til winter and the birds eat them too.
