Bold wallpaper Bathroom update

Well. This one has been a long time coming, but we were kinda working on the whole house, so the update to the shared bathroom was a bit of a low priority.

I came to Houzz some months back shortly after buying this house and not loving the burgundy accent tile. Was advised to give up my dreams of chipping it off and trying some wallpaper instead...

Since the window is on an interior wall, that will be getting the cabinet treatment to match the linen closet we put in so we’re not quite done yet.

      And whoever thought that brown rug and plaid shower curtain was the way to go when it was for sale? I am so glad that you were able to see past that!

      Thanks, all. I absolutely love how it turned out. The house was a smelly wreck in a great neighborhood on a gorgeous corner lot so we looked past the issues. Moving in this week.

      I LOVE IT! This is what a bathroom of that period should look like. Well done. And think of the thousands you saved by not ripping down that gorgeous old tile.
