What is the shower base made of? Was it special order?

I'm looking for a non-tiled shower base that is not plastic. This is for ease of cleaning and reducing mold in grout lines.

The shower base is actually a 12"x12" porcelain tile. If you are looking for a non-tiles shower base you have the options of steel, natural stone such as Granite, Ceramic and the standard ones made out of fiberglass, acrylic and PVC . Hope this helps!
