tile colour dilemma

Hi
We are having a nightmare trying to find the right colour scheme for our tiles that works with a blueberry coloured kitchen cabinet and a white quartz with grey vein. I've attached some photos of the kitchen at present. we have tried some off whites and greys but it just doesn't go right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are looking to tile to the ceiling for the oven wall so it works as a splashback also

wow thanks for so many options. I have ordered some samples will let you know what we decide.

we have contacted the worktop guys aswell and getting a quote for a splashback to the ceiling

Will be going for a light to mid grey gloss style. 60x60. we were thinking of a subway style white tile for the wall with grey grout but when we put together some samples ot didnt seem to work

Is there a reason why you didn’t go for a splash back the same as the worktop? With that and the upstands, I don’t think you’d need tiles. Use a good quality, wipeable kitchen paint & you shouldn’t have a problem.

I can recommend decorators varnish for protecting the paint behind the hob/oven.

I decided to forgo tiles and have just a simple upstand and I love having a completely wipeable wall with no grout lines to get mucky.

I used the polyvine dead flat finish and you can't even tell any difference in the paint. It's been painted over a year and still looks like new, haven't had a splash or mark I haven't been able to remove yet!
