    Winter Beige is a Scofield color but concrete suppliers can usually find an equivalent formula in other brands. Lamp (carbon) black is water soluble and usually bleaches out.

      The concrete has a slight integral color added. Usually we use Winter Beige, Outback or Dune or Pewter.

      why do yo typically choose winter beige over pewter? what are the factors?

      We like the warmer color. If you do use Pewter or other grays, make sure they are iron oxide based and not carbon-based, for color warmth and longevity reasons.

      Is Winter Beige made by Davis Color or another brand? Why do you not use lamp black?

      Last question I promise:) For contemporary/mid century modern do you add any color to the board form concrete retaining walls?

      I fibbed. Keeping with the spirit of contemporary/mid century modern do you generally recommend a broom finish, light broom, or sand blasted finish?
