Hello, thank you for your inquiry! The metal used is 1/8” thick sheets of Corn-Ten steel which is made to rust over time. These were not insulated panels, but were installed over a rain screen with 3/8” plastic spacers over a rain screen building paper. It doesn’t affect the temperature on the inside, but the panels can have some minor ‘oil canning’ due to expansion and contraction of the panels themselves.
