Which wall for wall-mounted shelves?

I just got a side cabinet for the right side of the dining room and was planning to put two wall-mounted shelves over it. On the opposite wall is a larger sideboard with a piece of artwork over it, and I was planning to upgrade this to a larger and more impactful canvas. All of a sudden I am second-guessing myself. Should I put the wall-mounted shelves over the larger sideboard on the left side of the room, and the artwork on the right? Or stick to my original plan?
The narrow IKEA wine rack might get tossed, not sure.
