Should I paint the sloped ceiling up to where it’s flat with the same gray wall color or leave it white?

if you do a 1/2 or 1/4 tone of the grey (that color mixed with white) for the ceiling - it will lessen the contrast - and soften the overall look of the room.

I usually do the part that is joined to the ceiling the ceiling color and the parts that look like wall the wall color or better yet the whole thing one color
