This is my favorite kitchen. I am now in the process of remodeling ours and trying to have a similar look. I will have the white perimeter cabinets and dark island and dark wood floors somewhat like this. Can you share how you handled the hardware color choices?

    Well, it's been a long time since we did this home.... but we generally use completely different hardware on the island, just to give it a sort of furniture piece look. So we probably used oil rubbed bronze hardware on the island, and either brushed nickel or similar on the cabinets, in totally different lines.
