Help With Window Treatments

11 måneder siden

I am stumped about window treatment for adjoining kitchen and small family room. I will use our existing off-white blinds (which match the whole house) but I would like to mask the view from the family room window. It looks out to a commercial metal building, our septic lids, and nearby highway DOT signs. Our home is 1945 with a traditional style. Thank you.

Here are more photos of the remodeled space and a image of our home not being remodeled.

Window treatments are better done last I think; there are so many options that can work. For now paper cellular shades could be a good choice for privacy and sunlight. But i would do windows last.

Inside mount light filtering bottom-up top-down shades are your best options. Will preserve the design integrity of your window and trim and allows for a lot of light while blocking the 'ugly' part of the view.
