Impressed with your use of different veneers in your portfolio

I went to look at your portfolio based on the unusual veneer used here. noticed that you use a lot of different types of veneer. Very impressed, most designers just stay within a narrow comfort zone. could you tell me what the veneer here is?

There are so many beautiful natural woods out there it would be a shame to limit ones self. At IMI Design we always are looking for new ways to express the luxurious beauty that comes directly from nature. The species in this image is paldao wood.

IMI Design is very good about using unique designs that incorporate interesting materials. They like to push many design "boundaries"! Here, the lighter Paldao contrasts (and complements) the darker Wenge veneer very nicely.
