did you remove the previous rock? Or did you reface? If reface, did you sheetrock over the top part and then paint?

    Thank you so much for your question! We actually stripped the fireplace of the original river rock, as it was more dimensional than it shows in this "before" photo. We also replaced the wood burning fireplace box with a more contemporary, gas-burning glass fireplace. I hope that helps.
