„Immersive Cave“ – ein Heimkino bei dem Bild und Ton unter die Haut gehen Ein Kunde des HiFi Forums Baiersdorf wollte sich einen Kindheitstraum erfüllen und seine eigene „Höhle“ zum Zurückziehen und Genießen. So wurde ein ungenutzter Kellerraum zum Wohlfühlkino mit Charme umgebaut. Dabei war Perfektion die oberste Prämisse und die Ausstattung sollte schlicht und einfach optimal sein. Das Team des HiFi Forums hat die cineastischen Träume des Hausherrn in die Wirklichkeit verwandelt – entstanden ist ein Heimkino, bei dem Bild und Ton unter die Haut gehen. Getauft wurde es folgerichtig „Immersive Cave“.

This cosy home cinema, tucked away in an Edwardian house, is the perfect family-friendly retreat. The room’s rich purple walls create a warm and inviting vibe, while a big natural rug adds a touch of comfort underfoot. A mix of comfy fauteuil chairs and a large sofa offers plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the show. The home cinema design installation brings everything together with great sound and lighting, creating an immersive experience. Personal artworks on the walls give the space character, making it a welcoming and stylish spot for the whole family to unwind and enjoy movie nights.

These slim-profile Artcoustic surround sound speakers were ideal to help optimise the floorspace of this Home Cinema. Although Artcoustic offer an impressive colour-matching service, the luxurious fabric wall covering made this difficult to achieve. Instead, rectangular black grilles are incorporated into the design of the room, echoing the black frames of the vintage movie posters.

Small TV Room converted into a bespoke seven seater cinema. The client wanted to create a traditional/modern home cinema space. We worked with a design company to give us the 3D render of the room so we could fully get a feel of the space before we begun. The room was small and at odd angles so we had to straighten the room up with rear joinery and storage which in the end worked well to hide the AV rack and DVD's. We chose a 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos setup using Lyngdorf Processing and MK Speakers. This gives a fully engulfing sound to the room and with Room perfect processing from Lyngdorf the room is balanced perfectly to the finishes we have. Cineak Cinema Seats were chosen for the bespoke elements of the seats and the functionality they have. JVC 4K Projection with a 110" screen gives an awesome picture for that big screen experience. The project was super fun to do and we had an amazing team working over a six week period to get this completed for Christmas.

This vintage-themed home cinema with the very latest technology (including 4K projector and Dolby Atmos immersive sound) won the European CEDIA 2016 award for "Best Home Cinema over £100,000". Bespoke cabinetry houses the 4K Ultra HD projector.
