Originally built in 1714 for the Duchess of Hamilton. This historic Chelsea Townhouse has been painstakingly restored and brought up to date for a young cosmopolitan family. The original pickled pine panelling in this drawing room creates a fabulous backdrop for an eclectic mix of styles and periods, including antique Swedish fauteuils covered in striped silk from Hermés, furniture designs by Jean-Michel Frank, shot silk curtains, and 1970’s artwork by Frank Phelan Alex James

A newly Renovated Contemporary Formal Sitting Room / Living Room for our stylish clients family home. Working with Janey Butler Interiors we proposed the total renovation of this sitting area, with all new contemporary floating fireplace design, and suspended ceiling with John Cullen Lighting. The newly created 'suspended' ceiling allowed us to created architectural recesses for the elegant Home Automated Eric Kuster luxury fabric curtains with concealed John Cullen dimmable LED lighting. Beautifully made elegant Curtains by the Janey Butler Interiors specialist curtain designers. The curtains have been designed on a Lutron Home Automation system allowing touch button opening and closing. All new Herringbone hardwood flooring throughout with under floor heating, and Bang and Olufsen Music / Sound System. Origninal contemporary Art Work and stylish Contemporary Furniture Design. The floating Fireplace is the now the stylish focal point of this stylish room, which exudes luxury and style. Der individuell angepasste Marmorkamin verleiht dem Raum zurückhaltende Elegant. Die Farben greifen die Elemente des Wohnbereiches auf: Der schwarze Marmor findet sich im dunklen Holz der Sprossentüren wieder. Das weiß der Schürze und der umliegenden Wände bieten einen schönen Kontrast und sorgen für viel Helligkeit.

Il soggiorno, in contrasto con lo spazio di ingresso ed altri ambienti della casa, ha il soffitto più alto intonacato e tinto color tortora. Nel soggiorno il divano dalle dimensioni generose occupa lo spazio centrale, di fronte alla grande vetrata da cui è possibile apprezzare il panorama. Alle spalle del divano un mobile in ferro è stato attrezzato a bottigliera. La TV in appoggio su un mobile metallico custom non si impone sulla grande vetrata ed assolve alla sua funzione in modo discreto. Nell'angolo opposto della sala un camino a bioetanolo rivestito in ferro riscalda l'atmosfera nelle fredde serate d'inverno.
