Full renovation of a Victorian terrace house including loft and side return extensions, full interior refurbishment and garden landscaping to create a beautiful family home. This project involved the remodelling of the ground and first floors and a small rear addition at a Victorian townhouse in Notting Hill. The brief included opening-up the ground floor reception rooms so as to increase the illusion of space and light, and to fully benefit from the view of the landscaped communal garden beyond. The snug is directly connected to the kitchen and designed as an open, kid-friendly space. We used the owners’ sofa here so accidental spills wouldn’t cause a major issue. To future-proof the space, we introduced two fireplace alcoves creating useful games storage, with a small bar area for entertaining.

This cosy living room feels like an inviting retreat, with bespoke ceiling details and soft, custom lighting creating a welcoming atmosphere. The rich dark green walls set a calm, intimate tone, while a mustard sofa adds a cheerful pop of colour. A plush, fluffy rug brings warmth and comfort underfoot, and the wooden fireplace introduces a touch of rustic charm. A marble coffee table anchors the space, balancing style with practicality, while a TV provides the perfect spot for relaxation. A small white sofa tucked to the side offers extra seating, making this a space that’s ideal for unwinding, gathering, and feeling right at home.

Built with relaxed entertaining in mind, the mix of neutral colour tones, textures and natural materials combine to create a modern, lodge-like feel.

Ce projet a été une belle collaboration ! Nous avons travaillé main dans la main pour concrétiser leurs idées, et mes clients sont ravis du résultat final.
