Dans cet appartement familial de 150 m², l’objectif était de rénover l’ensemble des pièces pour les rendre fonctionnelles et chaleureuses, en associant des matériaux naturels à une palette de couleurs harmonieuses. Dans la cuisine et le salon, nous avons misé sur du bois clair naturel marié avec des tons pastel et des meubles tendance. De nombreux rangements sur mesure ont été réalisés dans les couloirs pour optimiser tous les espaces disponibles. Le papier peint à motifs fait écho aux lignes arrondies de la porte verrière réalisée sur mesure. Dans les chambres, on retrouve des couleurs chaudes qui renforcent l’esprit vacances de l’appartement. Les salles de bain et la buanderie sont également dans des tons de vert naturel associés à du bois brut. La robinetterie noire, toute en contraste, apporte une touche de modernité. Un appartement où il fait bon vivre !

Having worked on the bathroom in 2016 we were recently asked to look at the kitchen and to advice as to how we could extend into the garden without completely invading the space. We wanted to be able to "sit in the kitchen and still be sitting in the garden".

The arrangement of the family, kitchen and dining space is designed to be social, true to the modernist ethos. The open plan living, walls of custom joinery, fireplace, high overhead windows, and floor to ceiling glass sliders all pay respect to successful and appropriate techniques of modernity.

This beautiful 18th century Georgian family home is surrounded by parkland with stunning views across the rolling countryside and farmland beyond. The homeowners wanted a classic English kitchen to reflect the Georgian heritage of the home but also one that would suit their busy lives and the needs of their small children. Richmond Road is a residential domestic side return extension to a Victorian terrace house in the heart of Montpelier. 3bd Architects designed the extension to the property to create an open-plan kitchen space to connect to the garden and allow plenty of natural light to flow into this space. 3bd's Services included concept design and building control drawings. Conker Construction have done an amazing job with the construction and the detailing.
