VORBILD ArchitectureThis spacious, light-filled family room blends comfort and function with subtle classical touches. A warm palette of soft beige and stone tones creates a calm backdrop for everyday life, while carefully chosen furniture and details add depth and familiarity.
The room is cleverly zoned into dining and living areas: on one side, a generous solid oak dining table with benches offers plenty of space for shared meals and gatherings. On the other, a pair of soft cream sofas and a wood-burning stove set into a simple brick-lined fireplace create a cosy, lived-in corner anchored by a neutral rug.
The light sage green walls provide gentle contrast to the crisp white cornicing and deep skirting boards, bringing a traditional architectural frame to a modern family lifestyle. Wall-mounted picture lights highlight framed prints, while a circular mirror above the fireplace offers visual symmetry and bounce.
Large-format stone-effect floor tiles add a tactile, timeless quality underfoot, while the black-framed door to the left connects the interior seamlessly to the garden beyond, bringing in both light and greenery.
Simpson & VoyleThis image showcases a stylish and contemporary living room with a focus on modern design elements. A large, plush sectional sofa upholstered in a light grey fabric serves as the centerpiece of the room, offering ample seating for relaxation and entertaining. The sofa is accented with a mix of textured throw pillows in shades of blue and beige, adding visual interest and comfort to the space.

Studio MilneI included parquet flooring when designing the dining and living area in this open plan space. Using a different floor finish to the tiled kitchen helps to create zones without the need for a wall.
The bespoke window seat and unit add soft curves to the space, with the soft colours of the wall and bespoke unit blending in with the flooring, allowing the black elements to make a statement and pop.
Plus RoomsThe brief for this project was to create a multifunctional space that included a kitchen, dining and living area.
The property did not benefit from a large garden so it was important that the depth of the extension did not significantly compromise the outdoor space. We therefore extended the kitchen into the rear reception room, which created a much larger open planned area and allowed for the installation of a small WC. Open planning the kitchen to the rear reception room also provided this area with some much need natural light via the skylights and doors in the new extension.
The fact the extension was not excessively deep enabled us to obtain planning permission for a good external wall height, which is complimented internally by the vaulted ceiling. The back of the extension has been finished with a large set of slim profile sliding doors, providing uninterrupted views of the beautifully designed garden. The final result is a light and airy space which accommodates the kitchen, living and dining areas that the client required.
A Living Concept LtdThis luxury living and dining area is a seamless blend of elegance, artistry, and refinement. The space is thoughtfully designed to offer both comfort and sophistication, with every element carefully curated to create an atmosphere of timeless beauty.
At the heart of the room, a striking piece of important art takes center stage on one of the walls. The artwork, whether a bold modern painting or a classical masterpiece, commands attention with its size, color, and intricacy, becoming a powerful focal point that sets the tone for the entire space. The art is expertly framed or displayed, ensuring that it is the star of the room, while complementing the luxurious atmosphere with its beauty and cultural significance.
A grand piano occupies a prominent corner of the room, its polished ebony or rich wood finish adding an air of sophistication and classic charm.
