I had originally decided to go with the 1/3 rule on my drawers but at some point the craziness of all the numbers stopped making sense (5 x 10” for 30” drawers, 4 x 8” for 24” drawers etc) and just ended up going with 9” on all 24” and wider and 4” on anything smaller. I was initially worried that would not function or look good but they all work/look fine. Excuse the mess!

I'd use no knobs at all. Cluster the upper and lower DOORS /drawers with the 18/21 and use the middle size, then do the ( third in pic, largest for all 27/30 inch drawer bases. Everything else is brain surgery. : ) It will look newer, fresher. Skip the knob. Since the pantry has two sets of doors, use the mid size on upper and lower doors.
