This is not about style. They say the cabinetry is maple -- which means a pro painter could make your maple any color you want. Come to think about it, in Grass Valley we didn't want the expense of new kitchen cabinets, so a painter came in, removed all the doors and drawer and painted them white in his shop. Then he sealed off the remaining cabinetry and painted it on-site. When he had replaced the painted doors and drawers, it looked fabulous. Our oak cabinets were transformed.
Another example of how the shower and cabinets don't need a "wall". The end of the cabinet that now shows could be covered by a piece of wood or painted wood that would match everything. I think the newly exposed side of the cabinet is NOT a biggie in terms of cost of effort. It could even be tiled.
are two sinks really required? How about one big sink in the middle with upper cabinets on either side [mucho storage space]. Not ALL master brs have two sinks, espec if the one sink is glamorous as this is. S;ightly reducing the width of the cabinet unit would all a bit more room on each side for the armoire and shower.
Cool -- they build a box room and then install a fiberglass unit to avoid tile
