The colors appeal to me here. Also how comfortable and inviting this space is - it isn’t pretentious but it is still beautiful and well-planned.
Could we do this in the living room? Fireplace and two windows on the north-facing wall? Would rule out the sectional plan we’ve been discussing but…. Interesting. Especially if we did a peak in the roof on that side of the house on the exterior - fireplace could be centered in that peak as shown in this pic.
Furniture concentrated in center of room to allow for windows and open space all around.

Can the linen closet be incorporated into the dressing room? Is there enough room?
No reason to not put furniture in front of the glass doors as long as it is far enough from them.
