A-1 Glass is a second-generation family owned and operated company servicing our residential neighbors in the greater San Luis Obispo, CA area. Father Don Carroll started the company in 1992 in Fresno County with the goal of providing his community with the best-quality glass service at honest and reasonable prices. Son Bryan Carroll and his partner in business and life, Sophia Stephens, have since taken over the business, expanding its service area to include communities throughout the Central Coast including San Luis Obispo and parts of Santa Barbara County. The company is now the only full service glass shop in the county specializing in all areas of glass including: residential, commercial, automotive and farm equipment glass as well as window tinting, paint protection film and auto detailing. Jailhouse Jim

A-1 Glass installed a shower door and a shower enclosure for us. They were far lower than any of the other local glass companies. While there was a couple of issues throughout the projects A-1 was there to resolve the issues and make sure we had the bathroom that we wanted. Thank you A-1.

I am extremely pleased with my recent purchase and installation of A-1 Glass's "High Performance Ceramic Residential Window Film". I have recently purchased the film to help with the heat that accumulates inside my home from a large bank of windows. I live on the Central Coast, and we do not have AC, but with the large amount of windows in the house, I needed something to help with the heat factor. I spent time researching the right product. This was It! On a recent hot summer day the tempt. outside was 100 plus, yet as I looked at my temperature guage inside the house it registered at 83 degrees! This is a huge difference from what the tempt. use to be! I know that the film has helped tremendously, but this was actual evidence! Also, the installation was done perfectly. Installation is an important factor. I observed the installers that stayed with the job, and were very particular in how the end result would look. People that come to my house can not tell that I have the film on the windows, because there is no indications from the perfect installation, and also because the film is clear. This is a quality product that was installed very well. I am extremely pleased!

Although our project ended up being more work and time than initially anticipated, we had great interactions with the professionals at A-1 Glass, and they worked really hard on the installation. There are still a list of items to be completed at a later date, partly due to a supplier issue. But we're so happy with the work that has already been done and love our new windows. We would recommend A-1 Glass.

Had a really great experience with Dave Kammer over at A1 Glass. We love the window system that was installed in our home. The modern sliders open across our living room wall onto our deck allowing indoor/outdoor living experience. They have needed some adjusting as the construction settles, but Dave and his team have been quick to respond and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

I loved working with Brian and his crew. We replaced all the windows in our house. We had some issues with leaking but they stayed on it until resolved.

A-1 Glass installed 2 large 96 inch Milgard sliding glass doors in my home and it was flawless. Customer service and knowledge of product and installation was the best I have ever worked with. Positive attitude and commitment to making the customer happy seems to be what A-1 Glass prides themselves on. The work was beautiful and extremely well finished. I would definitely do business with A-1 Glass again, as well as recommend all of my family and friends.
