A wonderful remodel experience of my tiny studio apt on the UWS in a full service co-op bldg with onerous regulations. The apt is a pied a terre, and I was attempting the remodel from a thousand miles away! Not only did Carlos Castano and the great A-Plus team handle all the bldg’s paperwork, and do everything by the book, they kept me informed at all times via detailed emails, pictures and drawings. They stayed within my tight budget and transformed the apt into a showplace! If an unexpected situation occurred, they offered multiple solutions with cost estimated before contacting me. They designed and constructed beautiful built in storage and offered sage advice when asked. Excellent experience! Have just rehired them to design and construct my closet storage. No need to shop elsewhere!

They came to my apartment after a major leak. They replaced an oak floor, painted and plastered. They did an excellent job. The staff was professional, courteous, considerate and honest. The work was done in a timely manner. I would use them again and would encourage friends to hire this company.

I hired C&G A-Plus Interior Remodeling to remove an old linoleum floor, down to the concrete, in a laundry room and replace it with a new tile floor (purchased from Home Depot), install new baseboards, and paint the room. They also had to repair a 2’ long gouge (1” deep) in the floor. They said it would take three days and it did. Considering the work to be done, they gave me a fair price, $1,300, to do the job. They did a beautiful job and were friendly and accommodating to deal with. My wife and I were very satisfied with the job.

The A-Plus team was a pleasure to work with. They renovated our 2br/2ba, and we couldn't be happier. The work also entailed the installation of new flooring, custom built radiator covers and closet millwork. Their level of quality/service exceeded our expectations and they added value to our project with their attention to detail as they executed the design and made suggestions for improvement in areas where they thought such additions might be beneficial to the vision of our design. A-Plus renovated the kitchen and two bathrooms in my pre-war apartment. They were meticulous in their work and great at problem solving, when unexpected challenges were found behind the walls. Carlos and Guillermo and their team are hardworking, personable, and a pleasure to work with. They completed my project on time and for a reasonable price. They are a fair-dealing organization that performs high quality work. I intend to use them for other projects, and they are highly recommended.

We have had the pleasure of working with A-Plus for both our initial UES apartment upgrade before move-in in 2013 as well as a "tune-up" in late 2016. The quality and frequency of communication, the reasonable cost, and the perfectionist craftsmanship are all qualities that made our experiences very positive. Carlos, Beto, Giancarlo, David and their team all worked to make sure paperwork and discussions with our super and management were completed appropriately and work took place at the co-op per the rules. Whether finding innovative solutions for low voltage issues, building unique casework to fit small spaces, installing appliances and plumbing, or making sure all finishes were perfect, they were thoughtful and totally professional.

We found Carlo Balestri through the recommendation of a neighbor. We subsequently interviewed several architects for our project. We retained Carlo based up the recommendation and, most importantly, his aesthetic. Our project was an addition to a mid-century modern of some historical value. Carlo has done an amazing job of respecting the existing home while creating an addition that complements it and is consistent with our aesthetic. This has been quite a process and Carlo has been with us every step the way. To say that he is meticulous and thorough would be an incredible understatement. From his presentations to the planning board to his interaction with suppliers, Carlo is prepared and handles each situation with thoughtfulness and integrity. Time and space do not allow me to articulate all of the big and small ways that he has driven this project and made it so much better as a result of his involvement. It is without reservation that I can recommend Carlo Balestri and his firm.

The team at A-Plus was excellent across the board. They expertly brought our vision to life and gave great feedback and perspective to ensure what we were thinking would work design-wise and from a functional standpoint. They were very direct and clear with costs and invoice dates an always let us know immediately if there would be extra costs, giving us plenty of options. From a work standpoint, they're extremely clean, efficient and respectful and their woodworking, in particular, is amazing - we had them build built-in units in our living room and they also built the vanities in our bathrooms. We had some delays with our building, but it didn't affect them. Very friendly, positive and did amazing work!
