I used Richard's services for my home renovation, we encountered very tricky planning officers who threw constraint after constraint at us. However, Richard persevered and with an ingenious roof design, he succeeded in getting me the room space that I required and with a contemporary design that I love. My 1965 dreary bungalow is now on course to being my dream open plan family home.

Arc8 projects have been working on the design of our house renovation over the last 6 months. Richard has done a fabulous job making an old and worn out 1930s home design into a modern family space. We have changed the loft area, first floor and rear extensions to maximise the space here as well as making an annex in the garden. We are part through the build now and everything is going really smoothly. Having instant plans drawn infront of you makes a huge difference to the speed of getting designs drawn. They can be instantly tweaked and the visual results shared immediately. This has really helped us to visualise the space that we have and what we are creating. Thank you for all your hard work and effort in getting the plans just right for us.

Arc8 were recommended to me. Richard was, from start to finish, brilliant, helpful and insightful. I was looking at a pebble-dash 6 bed monstrosity that had a big rear garden and lots of potential but had suffered from some poor renovations in the 80’s. Richard actually came with me to a viewing for a walk-through, and after his initial sketches I bought the property. Arc8 took care of all the design and plan production, and most importantly all the work with council to get planning through. The major renovation took 10 months (during which time the property was vacant). Initially demolishing large sections of the old residence, Richard's design significantly expanded the competed house footprint and added another 1000 ft2 to living areas. Richard worked closely with the structural engineer and the builders. Following Richard’s vision, the residence transformed a pokey three level house with poorly used garden and negligible services (no laundry, no tv / cinema room, one small reception room etc) into a perfect open plan family smart-home that gets glowing comments from anyone who sees it. I cannot recommend Arc8 highly enough.

We hired Richard as the architect for a full renovation project. He is a skilled Architect and manages the planning process for us. He went the extra mile with our neighbours who were tough to ensure that we got the outcome we wanted. He has an excellent relationship with engineers and builders which also helps during what is a stressful process

Richard Hall at Arc8 exceeded our expectations from start to finish. We had an unreliable builder, and Richard was always there to help and guide us through delivery of our house extension, and to keep the builder in check. No meeting was too early or too late for Arc8 and we could always rely on Richard to be professional, imaginative, helpful, and proactive. I engaged Richard from Arc8 to provide the Architecture and planning for a ground floor open plan extension. I found Richard to be very helpful and consultative. We used Arc8 for an extensive refurbishment of our existing home, extending at the rear and going into the loft. Rik helped us with ideas and generally getting through the planning process without too much drama, he was always on hand if any questions arose and checked in regularly to make sure everything was going according to plan.
