Our Architect recommended Barry Tames and his company, Urban Space Projects, for our extensive house renovation project in Ashtead, Surrey in 2018. Barry and his team did a fantastic job and worked very hard. It was quite an adventure for us having to move out because of the extent of the works, but we were relaxed knowing that such a good team was in charge of the project. It made the process much more enjoyable and allowed time to be able to make decisions about things as and when they cropped up. Barry was always around and involved and if there were any problems there was a proactive approach to dealing with it. The project was completed in good time, the building work was of a high standard and we love living in our “new” home. We would certainly recommend them.

Urban Space Projects were recommended to us by a friend. Having worked with them ourselves, we were not disappointed. They have recently completed our side extension and complete internal renovation/remodelling of our home in Surrey (including steelwork; new kitchen; electrics, plumbing, windows). The work was completed on time and within budget and we have been really impressed by the quality of workmanship. They provided a dedicated project manager throughout which made the whole process very easy, particularly as we lived off site for the duration of the work. They were always on call to answer our questions, explain what was happening and address any issues we had. We would not hesitate to recommend them and would certainly use them again ourselves.

Urban Space Projects did a great job for us delivering on time, to budget. The project was complex requiring demolition of an existing building, site clearance, construction of a modern new home, followed by hard and soft landscaping. Urban Space Projects access a wide variety of trades who produced a top quality build. Their own skilled workforce is top notch. They are easy to deal with, recognise and follow client requirements and provide helpful, cost effective solutions when inevitable small deviations occur. They arrive when they say they are going to and finish what they start. Urban Space Projects work to the contract and implement effective change management. They show some flexibility on their overhead and management charges but a slight criticism is perhaps a lower rate could be applied to big ticket items. Urban Space Projects are a pleasure to work with and even rescued me when I got stuck in clay in the back garden. They come fully recommended.

We used Urban Space Projects for our renovation project which consisted of a loft conversion and ground floor extension. Barry was recommended by a friend after their renovation and great experience. The team are extremely skilful, polite, punctual, respectful and all round great group of guys. We were faced with storms, persistent rain and unprecedented times and the team still managed to keep on track. We can not express enough how pleased we are that we chose Urban Space for our build. The work was outstanding and any questions/ queries were answered and resolved straight away. Communication was excellent and never had to wait for our call to be returned. Payment was made when each stage was completed so we had trust the work would be done. We are over the moon with our end result and it was so much better than what expected. We would not hesitate to recommend Urban Space Projects to those looking for a builder. Thanks to Barry and all the team for giving us our dream home.

We asked Urban Space Projects to come back to our house to complete our garden renovations. The garden was in a bad state and needed a total overhaul. Barry's team helped us refresh everything with new decking, fixed some old fencing, added electrics to the new cabin and decking and cleared the old shed and summerhouse away. As ever, the guys were meticulous and didn't finish until we were happy with every small detail. Another great job and all coming in at budget. Pics include a before and after shot.

Barry and his team did an excellent job with our double storey side extension - they kept to the time and budget agreed and were very easy to work with. Our neighbours commented how considerate the builders were. Tom was a brilliant site manager, really helpful and professional. They kept us informed, gave us good ideas and produced high quality work. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I've worked with Barry and the team on a number of different housing projects now and they've always been reliable and trustworthy and have delivered some fantastic results for us at a competitive price. The latest project has been slightly smaller than the previous projects but we've just completed it and we're really happy with the results.

Urban Space Projects undertook a large rear extension and re-modelling of my home in Surrey. The work was completed on budget and on time and all the tradesmen delivered excellent work. We have also experienced very high levels of after care and when 2 minor issues arose, Urban Space attended to the repairs immediately and without quibble.

Urban Space Projects has recently completed a loft conversion and downstairs refurb for us (including a kitchen/diner knock through) and we couldn't be happier with the results. The work has been completed to a high standard and to budget, with full transparency on costs throughout the work. Having a dedicated project manager was invaluable in terms of keeping on top of progress and coming up with better ways of doing things. We are loving our new floor and very happy that the work involved everything right up to the final decoration, taking a lot of stress out of our hands. I can't recommend them enough and we look forward to our next project with the team.

We struggled to find a decent builder for our new extension, until our architect suggested we contact Urban Space Projects. Professional from the get go. They managed the whole build with precision, professionalism and enthusiasm. They even sent us pictures of the build whilst we were on holiday to show so we didn't miss anything! We actually enjoyed the whole process, and missed them when they were gone at the end of the project! They dealt with every aspect of the job, from piling to roofing. Worth every, reasonably priced, penny for a stress free build!

We used Urban Space Projects for our kitchen extension project. The new space they have created for us works really well and we are extremely pleased with the end result. The project ended up being much bigger than the one we started with but Barry accommodated the new requests and helped us with all the decisions along the way, and kept to schedule, keeping us updated on a regular basis. Barry and his team were professional, friendly, clean and tidy and I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them for any house project.

Kommenteret: Love the paving stone...I believe it was supplied by project glazing but I’m not sure of the brand itself. Have a look at infiniglide sliding doors they have minimal sight lines and can go to large sized panes.
