Bijan Exclusive Rugs

I am writing this review to express my thanks to firstly Amir, his brother Ash and lastly their father and owner of Bijan Exclusive rugs. I first met Amir a few months ago when I came into their store in Crows Nest to ask about a rug that was on display.. He was very helpful and answered all my questions, but at no time did I feel any pressure to make a purchase. He left me to prowse and thanked me on my leaving. I came back to the store a couple of weeks ago to again look at the rug. Unfortunately the one I was looking at had been sold, but Amir showed me a larger size of the same rug. I was unsure about how it would fit into my living area, but that was no problem. Amir suggested I could take it home to see how it looked, also letting me take a rug of the same size of the original, but in a different style and colour that I thought might be a good alternative. I had to come back the next day with my car, but Amir was at the Northbridge store, but no problem, he had left my details with Ash so he took over, bundling up the rugs and then carrying them to my car. Ash had rung their Northbridge store and found that there was one left of the orignal rug I had wanted and I was told it would be no problem to bring it to the Crows Nest store if I should decide it was the one I preferred. I loved the larger rug but had to return it as it was too big for my room and the smaller alternative did not suit the colour scheme, but again no probem. When I went back to the store Ash insited on going to the car to carry them back for me. The Northbridge store is on my way home from work, so I opted to go there the next day and I met Amir and Ash's very charming father Bijan. He had been told about the rug and again allowed me to take the smaller size home to see how it looked. Again I was helped to the car although this time it would have been very easy to carry the smaller rug. I loved it and next day went back to the store and paid for it. In all my dealings with Bijan and his sons, I was never pressured to make a purchase, I was given every courtesy and it was no problem at all if I decided to change my mind. I might add that my rug, whilst a wonderful purchase for me, was not very expensive, so I am even more impressed at the level of service I was given for a moderately priced rug. I will definitely return to Bijan Exclusive Rugs as I have my eye on a couple more rugs!

It took about 4 visits to Bijan at Northbridge to find the right rug for my new apartment. At all times there was courtesy and a great deal of patience while the pile of rugs were turned over one at a time for viewing. I appreciated being able to take one rug at a time home overnight to assess in situ. The right rug was finally chosen from Bijan's Crows Nest store. It was great to see Bijan and his two sons all helping me between their two stores to exchange my initial purchase and select a more suitable rug. After viewing and photographing many rugs at various places, I am very pleased with the rug I finally chose and the service I received. Thank you Bijan, Amir and Ash.

When we entered the store we were struck by the quality, beauty and variety of the rugs. After only 5 minutes we found our dream rug! This was after weeks of fruitless searching for the perfect rug in other stores all over Sydney. As soon as we saw the rug in Bijan we knew it was the ONE! The pattern, colours and workmanship on this antique rug was one-of-a-kind. Amir the manager was very friendly and helpful and provided outstanding service and advice. He was a pleasure to deal with and even added an anti-slip lining and chocolates after we made our purchase. He also provided a certificate of authenticity for our peace of mind. We 100% would recommend this business to all our friends and anyone looking for rare heirloom quality rugs at very reasonable prices.

I had a great experience buying a rug from Bijan Rugs at Crows Nest. Amir was very helpful in showing me different options and by assisting me take three different rugs home to try in situ. That made making a decision quick and easy as I knew that I would be happy long term with my purchase. The hand tufted rug I chose is lovely and well priced. I would highly recommend shopping here.

I first purchased from Bijan Exclusive Rugs years ago, after a house renovation resulted in big, open spaces to fill. Bijan came to my house after seeing the colour scheme and proposed two, superb rugs that became much-loved family members (well, almost!). So, 20 years later, I have moved to another house (with more big spaces), and I took these rugs with me. Bijan was there to help, cleaning and repairing the rugs (although, apart from some fraying at the edges after 20 years of kids, pets and vacuuming, they had worn practically not at all) and, of course, I bought 4 more rugs from Bijan. Again, the same wonderful service, very knowledgeable and very competitive in price. How could I resist!!

We recently purchased five Persian Rugs from Bijan for our apartment. Bijan showed us many rugs from his huge collection, and is very knowledgeable as to their origins and quality. Two of the rugs are artistic scenes, made from pure silk, and will be for us a window into Iranian art, culture and history. Bijan was very helpful and courteous and we enjoyed meeting him.
